Big numbers for Kavaliauskas
In the last game against Assigeco the Lithuanian center Antanas Kavaliauskas recorded impressive 29 points (12-of-15 shooting from the field), adding 8 rebounds and 2 steals for a final valuation index of 35. The 6'1 center is in his first season at Prima Veroli, and with his performance he led his team to a 86-76 relatively comfortable win.
Antanas arrived in Europe in 2007, after having played at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament and in the Las Vegas Summer League with the Houston Rockets. He joined the Panionios Forthnet Athens in the Greek first league. The following year the Center remained in Greece where he played for the A1 team Kavala/Panorama, averaging 10,8 points per game and 5,5 rebounds.
Last season Antanas played in the Italian top league with Pepsi JuveCaserta, which arrived second in the SerieA standings.
