One of the best players in the last round of the VTB United League was Cory Higgins of Triumph. He is an American guard in his first season at Triumph. In the last game Higgins recorded impressive 26 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.
Of course he led Triumph to another comfortable win 80-62 over slightly lower-ranked Krasnie Krilya being unquestionably team leader.
Triumph managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 13th place. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 6-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Higgins is a newcomer at Triumph and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.7ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 5.2rpg and 3.5apg.
