Osaka Evessa (Japanese BJ League) agreed terms with 29-year old American forward Lawrence Blackledge. It is actually his comeback to Osaka as he played here before. Blackledge has played for the last three seasons at Iwate Big Bulls (BJ League). In 58 games he had 14.4ppg, 9.1rpg, 3.2apg, 1.5spg and 1.8bpg last season. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Quite impressive season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese BJ League 2nd Team. Blackledge won IBL championship title in 2011.He has played also professionally in Canada (BC Titans) and IBL (Vancouver Volcanoes).Blackledge is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market. He attended Marquette University until 2008 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
