21 years-old Giovanna Martines joined Blue Lizard Basket Capri in the Italian A2. Giovanna grew up in the youth sector of Battipaglia where over the years she has always had great performances. In 2018 she moved to Forlì (Italian A2) she made 30 appearances, with an average of 4.8 points per game. The following season she joined Virtus Bologna, in Italian A1. Giovanna started the 20/21 with Schiavon Ponzano Basket Veneto in Italian A2, then moved to Velcofin InterLock Vicenza.
