Great Game for two Interperformances players in the last round match of the Belgian Ethias League. Last night the second ranked Spirou Charleroi was defeated by seventh ranked Leuven Bears in a tough game in Leuven 79-88. It was a great evening for both Bradford Burgess and Ian Hanavan who were very important for Leuven's victory.
The Rookie swingman Bradford Burgess contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds, 3 assist and 3 steals. For Bradford this is his first season overseas. He had a great senior year at VCU NCAA 1 where he averaged 13.5 ppg 5.0rpg and 1.5 apg and 1.1 spg. Was also named: CAA All-Tournament Team, All-CAA 1st Team, NABC Division I All-District 10 1st Team and Reese's College All-Star Game.
US/Belgian Forward, Ian Hanavan also contributed with 14 points, 2 rebounds and three 3 assists. For Ian, this is his third consecutive season with Leuven Bears. Last season he averaged 9.2ppg, 4.2 rpg and 1.1 spg.
