Brandon Dagans, Kevin Thomas and Asim McQueen land in the Venezuelan LPB
Interperformances signs three foreigners in the Venezuelan Club Bucaneros de Guaira:
PG/G Brandon Dagans, Who debuted in the last game against Gaiteros where Bucaneros won 77-82. Brandon comes from an amazing 2009/10 season as a rookie in the Portuguese LPB with Casino Figueira Ginasio led the league in scoring averaging 22.2ppg and also finished in the top five in steals per game with 2.8spg. Made it to the All star game, and was also named Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Guard of the Year, 1st Team and All-Imports Team.
SF Kevin Thomas, His professional basketball career started back in 2005 with Czech the Club, BK Usti nad Labem. Since then, has played in the Czech Championship. Spent the previous season with Karma Basket Podebrady where was selected for the Czech all star game and was also named Eurobasket.com All-Czech Rep. League Honorable Mention. The current season played in the Hungarian A Division for ZTE KK where averaged 18.5, 3.8rpg and 1.8apg.
PF Asim McQueen; an athletic Power Forward who graduated from Tulane in 2010. Asim is strong, muscular and dynamic. He comes from a very interesting college program where he averaged in his Senior Year 7.7 points and 4.6 rebounds in 30 games. Started the Current season In the Argentinean Liga A with Atenas Cordoba.
Kevin and Asim are already with the Club waiting for their debut next Friday against Cocodrilos.
