The first game of the Cypriot quarter final it's been a memorable match for Proteas Danoi AEL that overcame Pizza Express Primetel Apollon 85-83, playing only with 6 players!
At first AEL wanted to play with Cypriots players only, then they made a decision that totally changed the final result. They decided to put on the court the American Brandon Ewing.
The 6'2” Point Guard, put on an extraordinary performance, scoring 51 points for the winners (he collected 9 free throws, 6 field goals and 15 three pointers!)
With Brandon on the court, AEL is one step closer to the finals.
