Italian-Argentine forward Ivan Catani has officially signed with Breidablik BC for the upcoming season in the Icelandic Division 1. The 6'6" player brings international experience across South America and Europe, having recently posted averages of 17.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game with Basket San Alfonso in Paraguay LNB. His career accolades include reaching the Liga Sudamericana Final and the Liga Americas Semifinals with Estudiantes Concordia.
Speaking on his move to Iceland, Catani stated: "It is one of the biggest teams in Iceland, I am super happy. It is a very big step in my career. I would say it is almost more significant than playing in the Liga Nacional".
