Leemire Goldwire is a new member Brescia Leonessa. The American point guard signed a deal for the next season.
He arrives to Brescia from Forli, where he finished 2010/11. He appeared 16 times in Lega Due averaging 19.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.9 steals. Goldwire started last season with the NBA D-League team Sioux Falls Skyforce. He registered 13.7 ppg, 4.6 rpg and 4.1 apg for 12 games. Season 2009/10, Goldwire also spent with the Skyforce.
His first season as a pro Leemire Goldwire split between Greek Egaleo and Bulgarian Lukoil. With the Greeks he had 12.2 ppg, 2.2 rpg and 2.2 apg for 5 games, after what he moved to Lukoil. He helped Lukoil win the championship title in Bulgaria. For 19 games Goldwire had 11.5 ppg, 4 rpg, 2.5 apg and 1.7 spg. He also added 4 ppg and 2.3 rpg for 3 EuroCup games.
