The USA-Italian guard Brett Blizzard has signed with Interperformances. Brett is actually having a good season in the Italian A2, with Novipiu Casale Monferrato, where he's averaging 11.8 ppg, 2.9 rpg an 3.1 apg. Blizzard played there also last season, where in 32 Gold games he recorded 10.4ppg, 2.7rpg, 2.8apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. The previous (13-14) season Blizzard played at CZG Veroli. In 35 A2 Gold games he averaged 10.8ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.8apg and 1.3spg. In 12-13 season he played at Wilmington Sea Dawgs in U.S. TRBL. In 5 games he averaged impressive 29.2ppg, 3.6rpg, 4.4apg and 1.4spg.
He attended University of N.Carolina-Wilmington and it is his 13th season in pro basketball. Among other achievements Blizzard won EuroChallenge championship title in 2009. He received also USBasket.com All-TRBL Honorable Mention award in 2013. Blizzard was a member of Italian Senior National Team back in 2004. He has played previously for six other Italy teams: AV Cantu, Trenkwalder RE, Eternedile Bologna, Montepaschi Siena, Fileni BPA Jesi and Granarolo Bologna. He can be described as a very good shooter, with almost unlimited range; knows also how to create his own shot, and is a very good rebounder for his size; this is why he can play in all the three perimeter positions.
