Brittany Lewis joins Interperformances

Bahraini international power forward/center Brittany Lewis has signed with Interperformances. Brittany is a product of Louisiana Tech University where she graduated in 2013, averaging 11.1ppg and 5.9rpg. She then gained experience in Turkish TKBL2 with Osmaniye Genclik, in Slovakian Extraliga with SBK Samorin, with Polish AZS Uniwersytet Gdanski, but mostly she has played in Greek A1, where she played for PAOK Thessaloniki and AO Sporting Athens.

                            
















PAOK Thessaloniki (A1) inked 30-year old Bahraini ex-international power forward Brittany Lewis (188-89, college: Louisiana Tech). It is actually her comeback to Thessaloniki as she has played here before. Lewis has a double citizenship as she also holds American passport. Lewis started the season at AZS Uniwersytet Gdanski in Polish EBLK. In only one game she had 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals this season. The last season Lewis played at Sporting where in 22 games she averaged 12.8ppg, 7.4rpg, 1.6apg and 1.0spg. Good season as she was selected League Player of the Week.Among many awards Lewis' team was regular season runner-up in Atlantic 10 for two years in a row (2011 and 2012). She was a member of Bahrain Senior National Team in 2017.Lewis has played previously professionally in Slovakia (Samorin) and Turkey (Osmaniye).She attended Louisiana Tech University until 2013 and it is her seventh season in pro basketball.Lewis' game is described as: 

Named honorable mention all-state by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. She graduated from one of the best programs in NCAA. She was 3rd scorer and rebounder and 1st blocker of La Tech in her senior season.Very athletic center /forward she can post and she is an efficient perimeter shooter and a reliable rebounder.
