Brussels brings in former Wake Forest small forward Travis McKie

Basic-Fit Brussels has officially announced that Travis McKie  has signed with the European capital's Ethias Leagueclub. Travis McKie played for Wake Forest in the ACC-Atlantic Coast Conference, one of the best NCAA conferences, last season. He has often played against great college teams like Duke, Kansas, Tennessee, Syracuse or Clemson.
Travis McKie will turn 22 in October 2014. He is 6'7" (2.01 m) tall, weighs 220 lbs (100 kg) and plays as a small forward. He is an all-round player, very efficient in offense, and was the focus of many scouts' attention during his college years.
Here is what Basic-Fit Brussels Head Coach Serge Crevecoeur has to say about his new US player's arrival: "I think we have found a all-round and very offensive player. He is indeed not only an excellent shooter from all ranges but is also able to play in post-up position, drive to the basket and conclude a fast-break situation aggressively. Moreover, thanks to his height, he should grab defensive rebounds and show putbacks rebounding skills in offense. Although it is not one of his top qualities, I expect a great defensive job from him, either as a vocal team leader or in a physical way. I believe he is the kind of player whom we still missed in order to get the perfectly balanced squad that we wanted. Few teams have a tall and physical small forward like Travis".
