CAB Madeira (LPB) added to their roster Canadian point guard Michael L'Africain (185). He just graduated from Ottawa. In 23 games he recorded very impressive stats: 19.4ppg, 3.7rpg and 5.1apg last season. L'Africain helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was selected CIS All-Canadian Player of the Year, All-OUA Player of the Year and voted to CIS All-Canadian 1st Team.
Part of previous (2015) summer he spent at Marauders (NBBL) in Canadian NBBL. L'Africain contributed to his team making it to the final. He also spent pre-season at Marauders in Canadian CIS that year.
L'Africain won OUA championship title in 2014.
