Cantù signs Darius-Odom Johnson
Italian Serie A team Acqua Vitasnella Cantù signed the 6'2" USA point guard Darius-Odom Johnson, a pick of the Dallas Mavericks in the 2012 draft (2rd(55)).
That season he played for the Los Angeles D-Fenders in the D-League and for St. Petersburg in the VTB league. Last season Darius started the season in China, then he moved back to the USA where he joined Springfield Armor. In March 2014 he signed back in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Darius could be described as a player who runs hard in transition and that uses speed to create easy opportunities for himself. He's a solid athlete with good leaping ability, moves well without the basketball. Always looking to rotate to an open position on the perimeter where his teammates can find him. Solid passing ability and he moves the ball well.
