The 6'2" PuertoRican point guard Carlos Arroyo has been named Guard of the Year 2013 in Turkey. The 33 years old player has also been named Import Player of the Year.
This season Carlos averaged 13.3 ppg and 2.9 rpg for Galatasaray. Arroyo played for Besiktas Istanbul during the season 2011-2012 and had a big role in winning three cups in a year. Arroyo is a 33 year old Puerto Rican guard with a delightful career including Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, Miami Heat and Boston Celtics. Last year he had 10.7ppg, 2.0rpg, 3.6apg in 9 games in EuroChallenge and 14.7ppg, 2.5rpg, 4.4apg in 27 games in Turkish Leaguewith Besiktas Istanbul.
