This week's top Puerto Rican playing abroad in last week's games is the experienced international point guard Carlos Arroyo. He led his Turkish team Galatasaray to a victory over the closely-ranked Unicaja Malaga (3-5) 78-70 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. Arroyo was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points and added 5 passes (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line) in 34 minutes on the court. Galatasaray Liv Hospital Istanbul (5-3) is placed second in the Euroleague. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Arroyo has good stats this year: 11.9ppg, 1.4rpg, 4.0apg, 2FGP: 43.8%, 3FGP: 34.3% and FT: 89.5% in the eight games he played so far. Carlos is currently a member of the Puerto Rican senior national team.
