Casey Samuels Set to Bring Fire to the Court with Rockingham Flames
Talented guard Casey Samuels signed with the Rockingham Flames team in the Australian NBL1 West. Samuels has played in several countries, including Australia and Malta. She started her basketball career at the Australian Institute of Sport, where she played seven games and averaged 4.7 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. She then played for several teams in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL), including the Canberra TransAct Capitals and the Sydney Uni Flames, where she played for two seasons and averaged 7.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
Samuels also played for the Bankstown Bruins and the North Gold Coast Seahawks in the Waratah League and the Queensland Basketball League (QBL), respectively. In 2017, she had an outstanding season with the Bankstown Bruins, where she averaged 22.9 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game. She also played for the Gold Coast Rollers and the Central Districts Lions in the NBL1 North and NBL1 Central, respectively.
In 2022, Samuels played for the ARMS Depiro Rabat Imtarfa in the Malta Women's League, and she will now be joining the Rockingham Flames in the Australian NBL1 West. Samuels has had an impressive career so far, and her signing with the Rockingham Flames is sure to bring excitement to basketball fans.
