
Chambers' journey takes her to Mongolia as she signs with M Garid
American swingman D'Asia Chamber has signed with M Garid in Mongolia. Standing at 6 feet tall, Chambers has had a successful career playing in various countries such as Australia, Czech-Republic, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Luxembourg, Nicaragua and the USA.
Chambers began her basketball career at Farrell High School in her hometown before moving on to play for St. Bonaventure University in 2010-2011, where she did not play. She then transferred to Slippery Rock University where she played for three seasons, from 2011-2012 to 2013-2014. In her final season with the university, she had an impressive performance with 17.8 points per game and 8.7 rebounds per game.
After completing her college career, Chambers made her professional debut in 2015-2016 with the TuS Bad Aibling Fireballs in Germany. She then went on to play for teams in Germany, Czech Republic, Finland, Luxembourg, Egypt and Nicaragua before signing with Bashkimi Prizren in Kosovo in 2021-2022.
Chambers has had a solid career thus far and her signing with M Garid in Mongolia marks another step in her international basketball journey. With her impressive statistics and proven ability to perform well in various leagues around the world, Chambers is sure to make a strong contribution to the team.
