David Acosta has signed with C. B. Unio Esportiva Mataro in Spain's Segunda FEB league. The 6'11" Dominican center joins the team after a solid collegiate career at Tennessee State University, where he averaged 3.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in the 2022–23 season. Acosta also played for Sameji in the Santiago League in 2025, adding professional experience from his native Dominican Republic. His size, defensive presence, and experience across multiple programs bring valuable depth to Mataro's frontcourt.
