5th ranked Lottomatica Roma (6-4) has been defeated on the road by third ranked Montepaschi Siena (8-2) 82-70. Lottomatica Roma was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Naturalized Ghanian guard David Cournooh led the team with 21 points. 

Montepaschi Siena have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Banco di Srd and Enel Brindisi. Lottomatica Roma at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost. Montepaschi Siena's next round opponent will be league's leader Banco di Srd in Sassari tonight and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lottomatica Roma will play at home against Trenkwalder RE (#8) and hope to win that game.
