U.S. Virgin Islands Deon Edwin had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Khimik and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 15.The 26-year old guard had a double-double of 23 points and ten rebounds, while his team edged out Cherkasy (#8, 3-10) 92-89. It allowed Khimik to consolidate first place in the Ukrainian Superleague. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Khimik has a very solid 14-4 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Edwin had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Khimik's top player in his first season with the team. Kent State University graduate has very impressive stats this year.
