American 6.8 Derrick Nix will play for The Cru in TBT 2022. The first match is set for next Saturday against the Gutter Cats, live on ESPN3 at 11AM CDT. In 2021/22 he played in French National Masculine 2 for Pays de Fougeres Basket where in 15 games he averaged 9,07 ppg.
Derrick is an extremely tough, wide-bodied frontcourt player. Possesses great hands and very good footwork. His nose for the ball benefits his rebounding ability. He is a product of Michigan State University in which he graduated in 2013. Later ha gained experience playing in several countries such as Slovenia (Krka Novo Mesto), Latvia (VEF Riga, BK Ventspils), France (Orleans 45), Poland (Energa Czarni Slupsk), Canada (Windsor Express), and of course the United States (Grand Rapids Drive, Michigan Avengers)
