Rimadesio reinforced their roster by signing for upcoming season Daniel Perez. Born in the Dominican Republic on September 22nd, 1997 and moved to Italy at the age of 7, Daniel is a 187 cm guard and  a product of the Crabs Rimini youth teams. In 2014/15 he started his senior career in Serie B with Rimini, collecting 5.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 12 appearances. The following season he collected 11.2 points, 1.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists with 58% on 2 and 31 % from 3  in 29 games with Rimini Crabs. He started the 2016/17 season with Scafati in the Italian Serie A2, where he played 19 games scoring 43 points in total and then moved to Omegna, with which he reached the semifinals.
