Desmon Farmer agreed terms with Bucaneros, ex Boca Jrs

Bucaneros de La Guaira (LPB) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old American swingman Desmon Farmer.
The last summer Farmer played at Metros in Dominican Rep. LNB. He also played at Elizur Ashkelon (previous name Ironi Ashkelon) in Israeli Winner League that season. In 23 games last season he averaged 13.2ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.7apg. The other team Farmer played that season for was Dnipro in Ukrainian Superleague. In 23 games last year he averaged 13.2ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.7apg. The previous (09-10) season he played at Bighorns in D-League. In 52 games that year he was fifth best scorer with impressive 23.3ppg and had 4.0rpg, 4.6apg and 1.0spg. He helped them to win the West Division title. Great season indeed as he was voted to D-League All-Star Game.In 2004 Michigan Mayhem selected him as first overall pick in CBA draft.The former University of Southern California star is in his eighth season in pro basketball.Farmer is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Belgium, Croatia (KK Zadar), Greece, Poland, Puerto Rico (Atleticos), Russia (Spartak Primorie Vladivostok), Spain, NBA (San Antonio Spurs) and D-League (Rio Grande Valley Vipers and Reno Bighorns).
