Boca Juniors needed to reinforce their roster, so they decided to sign the 6'5" player Desmon Farmer. The American guard/small forward started the 2011/12 season with Metros De Santiago in the Dominican Republic.
Last season Desmon played for Ironi Ashkelon in the Israeli first league averaging 13.2 points (36.8% from behind the three-points arch) and 2.5 rebounds per game. He played also in Puerto Rico, Ukraine, Spain, Greece, Russia, Belgium, Poland, D-League and NBA.
