Blancos de Rueda Valladolid (Liga Endesa) inked 22-year old Serbian swingman Djordje Drenovac. He played most recently at BiancoBlu Bologna in Italian DNA Silver. In 16 games he recorded 4.5ppg and 1.8rpg last season. The previous (11-12) season Drenovac played at Arkadia Lions (A Bundesliga) in Austrian league. In 25 games he was second best scorer with impressive 23.0ppg and had 4.6rpg, 2.2apg and 1.2spg that season. He helped them to make it to the supercup semifinals.
Among other achievements Drenovac's team made it to the Bundesliga A Semifinals for two years in a row (2010 and 2011). He received also Eurobasket.com All-World Championships U19 Honorable Mention award back in 2011. Drenovac represented Serbia at the World University Games in Kazan (Russia) last year. He has played also professionally in Serbia (Mega Vizura).
Drenovac's game is described as: Considered one of the best players in Europe of his generation, he is a tall guard player who can spend time at the both forward positiions too. Plays much more mature than his age and he is always under control. Has great technical skills and a superior court vision. Always thinks much faster than the players of the same age, most of the observers compare him to the young Dejan Bodiroga
