CAB Madeira (LPB) signed 27-year old Portuguese international small forward Stefan Djukic . It is actually his comeback to Funchal as he has played here before. Djukic is a dual citizen owning also Serbian passport. He played last season at Lusitania (LPB). In 30 games he had 10.1ppg, 7.6rpg and 1.4apg. A very impressive season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Honorable Mention and to the All-Star Game.The previous (14-15) season Djukic played at CAB Madeira where in 25 LPB games he recorded 7.3ppg and 5.6rpg.Djukic has been a member of Portuguese international program for some years. He has been regularly called to Portuguese senior team since 2015 and previously for U20 National Team in 2009.Djukic has played also professionally in United Kingdom (Worcester Wolves), Portugal (Ginasio, Oliveirense, Imortal DC and Sampaense) and Serbia (Viva Basket, Crnokosa and BC Partizan MT:S Beograd).He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market. Djukic could be described: good jumping ability, good entry, attractive dunks, and forests, and equally well to keep players in all positions.
