Estudiantes Concordia (Argenitinan LigaA) tabbed experienced 36-year old Spaniard center David Doblas. He played most recently at Doxa Lefkadas in Greek A1 league. In 23 games he averaged 6.8ppg and 3.6rpg last season. Doblas also played that season for Araberri in Spanish LEB Gold where in only one game he had 8 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.Among other achievements he won Spanish LEB Gold Play-Off championship title in 2008. Doblas received also Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa Honorable Mention award back in 2014.He has played previously professionally in Italy and Spain (CB Granada, Menorca, Algeciras, Rosalia and Gipuzkoa).It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Estudiantes Concordia.

Comunicaciones Mercedes strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old ex-international point guard Juan Figueroa . He played last season at Penarol (LigaA). In 48 games he recorded 5.5ppg, 2.4rpg, 4.5apg and 1.3spg. The previous (2016) summer Figueroa played at Club Grau (LNB) in Peruvian league.The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team was regular season runner-up in Argentinian LigaA South Group in 2016. Figueroa was selected to Brazilian All-Star Game back in 2011 and 2012.He was also a member of Argentinian international program for some years. Figueroa played for Argentinian Senior National Team between 2009 and 2014 and previously for U21 National Team between 2004 and 2005.He also represented Argentina at the South American Championships in Isla Margarita (Venezuela) three years ago. Figueroa's team won Silver and his stats at that event were 5 games: 1.4ppg, 1.4rpg, 2.4apg.Figueroa has played previously professionally also in Brazil (Vivo/Franca and Pinheiros).
