Last Saturday in Kaunas, Zalgiris took its revenge against Lietuvos Rytas for the loss in the first Baltic Basketball League (BBL) Elite division round, edging the visitors 85:82.
Leader of the game, both in scoring and in rebounds was 6'8” Power Forward / Center Tadas Klimavicius who had a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds. The Lithuanian scored 6-of-7 FGs, 2-of 4 three pointers and 6-of-11 FTs, adding 2 assists and a steal.
Tadas joined Zaligirs in the 2008/2009 season, where he averaged 10.1 ppg and 6.7 rebounds in the Lithuanian LKL league.
