Draymond Green's last second layup stuns Miami Heat 97-95
Former Saginaw High and Michigan State standout Draymond Green made
the play of the night in the NBA on Wednesday, Dec. 13 when the Golden
State Warriors rookie found his way into the paint for a layup with 0.9
seconds left that lifted the Warriors to an improbable 97-95 road victory over the defending champion Heat.
Golden State has now won five straight games to improve to 15-7.
Green came off the bench and played 30 minutes shooting 2-for-5 from the field, including 1 of 2 from 3-point range and 2 of 2 from the charity stripe to finish with seven points and seven rebounds. He also had two assists and two steals. Green is averaging 2.7 points and 3.6 rebounds a game for the Warriors.
