Dwayne Mitchell signs for Maccabi Rishon LeZion

The Ex-Louisiana-Lafayett Dwayne Mitchell has agreed terms with the Israeli team Maccabi Rishon LeZion. For Dwayne will be his second year in the Israeli Premier League as he played last season for Hapoel Holon, where he was the leading scorer of the team. In 15 games Dwayne averaged 16.1ppg, grabbed 4.4rpg and 3.0apg. In 2006 signed his first professional deal in the French Pro A with Paris Basket Racing, 32 games for them posting averages of 11.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.8 steals. The following season was drafted by Iowa Energy (D-League,1rd(14)). Dwayne averaged in 31 games: 20.4ppg, 6.4rpg, 3.2apg, 1.6spg. That same season moved to the German Bundesliga 1 with Brose Baskets Bamberg collecting 10.7 ppg, 3.6 rpg and 2.3 apg in 20 games. Spent the 2008 season with Los Angeles D-Fenders averaged: 18.6 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 4.3 apg and 1.9 spg in 49 games.
