The Israeli Premier League is at the halfway of the regular season. There are still nine rounds left, that's why the 6'5” point guard Dwayne Mitchell is doing his best to help Maccabi Rishon to make its way up in the league's standings.
Last Monday Dwayne had a very good night, pouring in for his team 21 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. The Ex-Louisiana-Lafayette player also added 6 assists and 3 steals, for a final ranking of 38!
This is Dwayne's second year in the Israeli Premier League as he played last season for Hapoel Holon, where he was the leading scorer of the team. In 15 games Dwayne averaged 16.1ppg, grabbed 4.4rpg and 3.0apg.
Mitchell is a newcomer at Maccabi Rishon, but he is already the team's top player, and probably one of the best players of the entire Premier League. Dwayne's next game will be Sunday against Elitzur Netanya.
