EA7 Armani adds Stanko Barac to their roster
EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (Serie A) added to their roster 29-year old Croatian international center Stanko Barac. He is a dual citizen owning also Bosnia and Herzegovina passport. He managed to play in three leagues last year. Barac played last season at Cedevita in Croatian A1 league. In 16 games he recorded 11.4ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.2apg. He helped them to win the league title. A very spectacular season in his career as he was selected Eurobasket.com All-Croatian A1 League Center of the Year and voted to 1st Team. Barac also played 5 games in Eurocup where he averaged 10.0ppg and 4.6rpg. He also played 17 games in Adriatic League where he averaged 9.0ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.2apg. He contributed to his team making it to the final. Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Adriatic League Honorable Mention.The previous (13-14) season Barac played at Anadolu Efes (BSL) in Turkish league. In two games he averaged 4.5ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.0apg in 2013-14 season. He also played 6 games in Euroleague where he averaged 4.0ppg and 2.3rpg in 2013-14 season.
In 2007 Barac was drafted by Miami Heat (NBA) in second round (39th overall).
He has been also a member of Croatian international program for some years. Barac has regularly played for Croatian senior team since 2007 and previously for U20 National Team between 2005 and 2006. He represented Croatia at the European Championships in Lithuania four years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 4.5ppg, 2.3rpg.
Barac has played previously professionally in Spain (Laboral Kutxa and Valencia Basket) and Bosnia (Siroki Primorka and Siroki II Eronet).
