The Mexican team Huracanes de Tampico decided to reinforce their roster by signing the 6'5" American guard/small forward Edward Basden.
Eddie started his professional Basketball career with the Chicago Bulls. While in Europe has played in Turkey, Germany, France and Greece. Has also played in the Euroleague with Fenerbahce and the EuroCup with Cholet Basket. During the 2009 season Basden was a key player for the Austin Toros where he averaged 12.6 points and 4.4 rebounds in 33 minutes of action. After finishing with the Toros, Eddie played for Maroussi in Greek A1.
Edward also had stints in Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Brazil and Philippines.
