Saint Vallier Basket Drome (French NM1) agreed terms with 32-year old British international center Eric Boateng. He is a dual citizen owning also Ghanian passport. Boateng has played for the last two seasons at ADA Blois Basket 41 in the ProB. In 30 games he had 7.4ppg and 5.1rpg last season. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Boateng won French NM1 championship title in 2016. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-French NM1 Honorable Mention in 2016.Boateng represented United Kingdom at the Qualifications to European Championships 2017 last year. His stats at that event were 6 games: 7.0ppg, 4.8rpg, FGP: 75.0%, FT: 75.0%.Boateng is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in five different countries. Boateng tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Argentina (La Union), Germany (Braunschweig), Greece (Peristeri GS Athens), France (Pau Lacq Orthez and Mulhouse Basket) and NBA G League (Salt Lake City Stars and Austin Spurs).Boateng attended Arizona State until 2010 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
