An interesting game for Mineros (11-3) which played road game in Chihuahua against 3rd ranked Dorados (8-6). First ranked Mineros managed to get a 7-point victory 89-82. American center Eric Dawson notched a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) to lead the effort. Dawson has a great season in Mexico. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.7rpg (#1 in league). 
Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mineros have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-3 record. Dorados lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with six games lost. Mineros will meet at home Correcaminos (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Dorados will play against Plateros in Fresnillo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
