Eternedile Bologna (Italian Serie A2) signed 36-year old domestic ex-international power forward Valerio Amoroso.  Amoroso recently played at Juvecaserta (Serie A) earlier this season. In 9 Serie A2 games he had 7.9ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.0apg and 1.7spg. The most of last season he spent at Giorgo Tesi (Serie A). In 18 games he recorded 9.7ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.4apg. The other team Amoroso played that season for was Auxilium Torino (previous name Manital Torino). In 10 Serie A2 games he recorded 12.7ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.8apg and 1.1spg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the LNP Gold Semifinals in 2014. Amoroso was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Italian LNP Gold Center of the Year in 2014. He represented Italy at the Qualifications to European Championships 2009 eight years ago. His stats at that event were 8 games: 7.9ppg, 5.9rpg, FGP: 59.4%, 3PT: 29.2%, FT: 57.1%.
