Etha and AEL: one step away from the finals

Intercollege Etha and Proteas Danoi AEL are the probable finalist of the Cypriot League playoffs for the season 2010/11. Both teams won two games in the semifinals, while Apoel and Keravnos must still get their first win
There are several Interperformances players waiting for the finals, ready to show their potential.

The 6'9” Power Forward / Center Anthony King (in the picture) hit a jumper at the end of game 1, handing Etha the first victory 74-76. In game 2 Etha won easily, leading almost all over the game, thanks also to the 13 points collected by Anthony.
MVP of the first match in the semifinals among AEL and Keravnos was the 7.0” Montenegrin Center Stevan Milosevic. The newcomer scored 22 points and  dashed down 7 rebounds,  beating all his opponents in the paint nearly in all the 'personal' battles.

In the second round, the MVP of the game was no other than the marvelous American rookie in European courts, Brandon Ewing who led the winners with 23 points. Ewing has been a key player for AEL in the quarterfinals. After having scored 51 points in the first game, in the second match Brandon led his team with 24 points, along with Dejan Delic who helped AEL to clinch the semifinals.

Both Apoel and Keravnos, need three victories in a row to reach the finals. Many would call it “a miracle” but you don't need a miracle if in your roster you have such high quality players as Ian Hanavan, Garcia Jojo, Mladen Sljivancanin and Mirko Kovac.
