EU Sopron wins the Hungarian Cup
Saturday in Gyor, the two Hungarian Euroleague teams, UNI SEAT Gyor and Uniqua Euroleasing Sopron got the finals in the Hungarian Cup.
After a bad start, Sopron got the lead and kept it until the end. Dora Horti dominated under the basket with 16 points and 7 rebounds, scoring a three in a crucial point and making a great and hard work against WNBA player Hollingsworth. Zsofi Fegyverneky was named for MVP. She made 32 VAL, and scored 20 very important points. Diana Furesz scored 8 points, with 6 assists and 3 steals. The young guard Zsofia Simon was the best performer for Gyor, helping her team with 20 points. Pecs 2010 won the bronze medal against ZTE NKK where Lilla Horvath scored 14 points for Pecs.
