After having helped the team to win last season's  Lithuanian cup, the 7'0” center  Eurelijus Zukauskas chose to remain in the same club,  re-signing with the strong Euroleague team B. C.  Zalgiris Kaunas for the 2008 / 2009 season. 
Eurelijus came out an excellent year where he helped Zalgiris Kaunas to win last season's Baltic League averaging 6.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.
