6'10” center/forward Fabricio Oberto has signed with the Washington Wizards in the NBA. The Argentinian/Italian will give Washington frontcourt depth, defensive ability, toughness and experience. He is one of the few players to win both an Olympic Gold Medal (2004 with Argentina) and a NBA title (2007 with San Antonio). Fabricio had surgery this year aimed at correcting an irregular heartbeat which was successful and will not affect his performances.
