Fabricio Vay named ABL MVP
The Argentinean/Italian SF Fabricio Vay of the Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions was named ABL Season MVP just today. In a survey which included ABL coaches, sportwriters and TV journalists Vay received the most votes. In 40 games for the Lions this season Vay averaged 19.5 ppg along with 7.6 rpg and 3.3 apg. He shot 44.9% from the field, 27.5% from beyond the arc and 80.7% from the charity stripe while playing 35.7 mpg. With the Lions he reached the playoff semifinals. After sweeping the Kapfenberg Bulls in the quartes the Lions lost to the Oberwart Gunners in a five game series in the semis.
