FC Porto (Portuguese LPB) added to their roster 26-year old Croatian international forward Boris Barac. He is a dual citizen owning also Bosnia and Herzegovina passport. Barac played last season at CEZ Nymburk in NBL league in Czech Republic. In 39 games he recorded 9.3ppg and 3.5rpg. He also played 11 games in Basketball Champions League where he averaged 4.6ppg and 2.0rpg.He won Czech Republic League championship title and the cup.The previous (16-17) season Barac played at KK Zadar in Croatian A1. In 27 games he had 10.4ppg, 4.1rpg and 2.5apg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Barac also played 25 games in ABA League where he got impressive 15.6ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.9apg. He was also named League Player of the Week.The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Barac was voted Eurobasket.com All-Adriatic League Honorable Mention in 2017.He has been also a member of Croatian international program for some years. Barac has regularly played for Croatian senior team since 2017 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2011.He represented Croatia at the European Championships U20 in Bilbao (Spain) seven years ago. His stats at that event were 8 games: 10.9ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.4apg, FGP: 38.5%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 57.1%.Barac has played previously professionally in Croatia (Cibona) and Bosnia (Siroki Primorka, Grude and Siroki II Eronet).
