Former world champion Ashton Gibbs signes in Romania
Ashton Gibbs, member of the USA U19 national team which won the world title back in 2009, is a new member of Steaua CSM EximBank Bucuresti.
Gibbs, is coming from a season spent first in the Greek first league with Panionios, then with Ourense, in the Spanish LEB gold, where he averaged 14.4 ppg and 2.4 rpg.
Ashton played college basketball at Pittsburgh where in 2010 he's been named All-Big East Most lmproved Player of the Year -10, winning the championship the following year.
