Fortitudo Pallacanestro Roma signed experienced 39-year old ex-international power forward Simone Bagnoli in Italy. Simone played in 2019-20 for IUL Tiber Basket Roma where in 18 games he averaged 20 points per game. He played the previous season at SS Napoli in Italian Serie B where in 21  games he had very impressive stats: 18.3ppg, 8.4rpg and 2.5apg.  Bagnoli also played for Virtus TSB 2012 Cassino (Serie A2) where in 9 games he recorded 9.0ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.6apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Bagnoli played in the final of Italian Serie B in 2018. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie B 1st Team in 2017. Bagnoli was a member of Italian Senior National Team back in 2006.He has spent his entire career in Italy playing for eight other teams: Virtus Roma, Libertas, Rimini Crabs, Pavia Basket, Julie News Napoli, Roseto Sharks, Posal Sesto and Potenza. Bagnoli could be described: A good inside player, with great wingspan and athletic skills; has a wide body, he is quick and good leaper, goes well to off and def rebounds, and is a good slasher; has yet a good shot front-to-the basket.
