It's been an incredible game the one played last Sunday in Jesi for the Italian LegaDue league.. The home team, Fileni BPA Jesi, challenged Carmatic Pistoia, gaining a significative victory, important both for the team and their fans. Jesi, supporters were infact on a strike against the many losses of their team.
But an Argentinian-Italian player shined on the court, cheering up Jesi fans with an amazing performance. We're talking about Roberto Gabini, that paced all the winners with 28 points. The 6'6” small forward scored 7-of-13 from the “2”, 3-of-9 from the “3” and 5-of-6 from the free throws line. He also grabbed 4 rebounds, handing out 2 assists and stealing the ball 5 times.
Roberto started his European career back in 2003/2004 with Basket Rimini Crabs, the team against which he is going to play against next Sunday. Ath the end of that season he was named the best Bosman Player of the entire Legadue league. Lately Roberto joined many important teams such as Tau Victoria and Lottomatica Virtus Roma with which he played for the last three years.
