Gary Ware joins Cherno More
6'9 USA center Gary Ware has signed a deal with BC Euroins-Cherno More. The team recently added to its roster another Interperformances player, the 6'1 Macedonian point guard Dimitar Mirakovski.
Gary was considered one of the best power forward/centers in the Big Ten Conference when playing at Purdue University. He had a great deal of successful experience in Europe, having played for Leeuwarden in the Dutch Eredivisie, InterCollege Etha Engomis in the Cypriot division A and, last season, with Debreceni Egyetem KE in the Hungarian first league. There, Gary scored 16.7 points per game, grabbing 7.7 rebounds and handing out 1.1 assists. He is a very strong rebounder and an excellent defender and can play both the center and the power forward positions.
