American Forward Daniel Ransom had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Griffin, receiving a A League Player of the Week award for round 9. The player had a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Burji (#3, 4-5) 78-67. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Griffin to consolidate first place in the Georgian A League. In the team's last game Ransom had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Griffin's top player in his first season with the team. Former Oklahoma Baptist University star has very solid stats this year. Ransom is in league's top in points (8th best: 18.6ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 9.4rpg) and averages impressive 54.5% FGP.
