Ferrocarril Oeste Capital Federal (Argentinian LigaA) strengthened their roster with addition of 33-year old American swingman J.R. Giddens. He started the season at Correcaminos in Mexican LNBP. In 17 games he recorded very impressive stats: 18.2ppg, 5.5rpg and 2.5apg this season. The last summer Giddens played at Gregorio Urbano Gilbert (Santiago League) in Dominican Republic.In 2008 he was drafted by Boston Celtics (NBA) in first round (30th overall). The former University of New Mexico standoutis in his tenth season in pro basketball.Among other achievements Giddens played in the final of Italian Lega Due in 2013. He received also Eurobasket.com All-Italian LNP Gold 1st Team award back in 2014.Giddens is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in ten different countries.
