San Antonio Spurs (NBA) confirmed in their roster 39-year old Argentinian international guard Manu Ginobili. He is a dual citizen owning also Italian passport. Ginobili has played there for the last fourteen seasons. In 68 NBA games he had 9.1ppg, 2.5rpg, 3.0apg and 1.1spg last season. Ginobili helped them to win the Southwest Division title. In 1999 he was drafted by the Spurs in second round (57th overall).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Ginobili was voted Eurobasket.com All-Olympic Games 1st Team back in 2012.
He also represented Argentina at the Olympic Games in London (United Kingdon) four years ago. Ginobili's team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 8 games: Score-3 (19.4ppg), 5.4rpg, 4.1apg, 1.6spg, FGP: 53.3%, 3PT: 44.2%.
Ginobili has played on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Italy (Virtus 1934 Bologna and Reggio Calabria) and Argentina (Bahia Basket).
